Atrium garden

Small scale designs or rather small enclosed spaces are one of my favorite design challenges.
The smaller or unusual is the space the better the challenge.

Making the space work for different activities and programs in all seasons as well as
connecting indoors with outdoors is crucial.
Combining this with great design is for me very satisfactory.

I really enjoy brainstorming and making quick sketches when given the garden to design.
Design of front gardens is equally important.

Choosing vegetation for the atrium is the 'cherry on the cream'. Plants enhance the design, they give the space character (with texture, shape, sizes, colour, etc.) and soul in every season.

Every atrium is unique.
